Journey PX Connect Privacy Policy

Journey PX Connect provides video and voice communication between a patient at a hospital facility and an invited guest. This Privacy Policy explains what we do and how we protect information collected.

On this Privacy Policy, “Journey PX Connect”, “our,” “we,” or “us,” we are referring to Journey PX Connect, a M.D.M. Commercial Enterprises, Inc. software mobile application.
Journey PX Connect is a free application (“app”) and it is only useful to invited guests. Non-invited guests will not have proper keys to allow video communication.

Information We Collect

  • We do not collect nor share any personal information such as names, addresses, emails, or social media information associated with mobiles devices.
  • We do not require an account creation to start using our app or to establish a video call.
  • To Login, guests can use any username and for password, guests should use the connection code shared by the patient at the hospital. Usernames and passwords entered by guests are safely stored at our app database and they are used to establish video communication between the patient at the hospital and the invited guest. They are also used for incoming/outgoing calls and notification purposes. We destroy the username and password once a patient is discharged from the hospital facility.
  • To route video communication calls and to notify incoming/outgoing calls to the proper guest mobile device, we need to collect hardware identification number. Hardware identification numbers are securely stored in our database and they are used only for the purpose of routing calls. We destroy the hardware identification numbers once a patient is discharged from the hospital facility
  • No video calls are recorded at any time.
  • We never collect nor share any user’s activity such as browse searching, video watching, app usage, or any other type of user activity.
  • We never collect nor share device location.
  • We request users to allow access to camera and storage to allow video calls. Even though we request storage access (storage access meaning picture, documents, or any other storage folder on the device), Journey PX Connect does not have functionality to access any device storage.
  • We do not use cookies at any time. Journey PX Connect intent is not to learn any private information about users. Our only intent is to give patients at hospitals a tool to connect with family and friends.

    • Third-Party Providers

    We work with third-party providers to establish voice/video communication over the internet. Data used for login purposes and device information are not shared with our third-party providers. No third-party provider has access to any personal information through or by Journey PX Connect.

    Assignment, Change Of Control, And Transfer

    All our rights and obligations under our Privacy Policy are freely assignable by us to any of our affiliates, in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise, but since we do not collect or share any personal information there is no transfer of personal information to nay of our affiliates, successor entities, or new owner.

    Law And Protection

    We may share, use and preserve login data before it is destroyed if we have a good-faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond pursuant to applicable law or regulations, to legal process, or to government requests; (b) enforce any applicable terms and policies, including for investigations of potential violation; (c) detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or other technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of hospitals using Journey PX Connect.

    Use of this application is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

    Updates To Our Policy

    We may amend or update our Privacy Policy at anytime. We will post changes to the Privacy Policy on this website and changes will become effective once posted. Your continued use of our services confirms your acceptance of our Privacy Policy as amended. If you do not agree to our Privacy Policy, as amended, you must stop using our services.
